I was in the area during Hog Days in Kewanee, and this was the only hotel available. I was skeptical after a really awful experience at a Super 8 in Sioux City, IA. But the Super 8 in Galva is great! I have only good things to say. "

"The property is beautiful! My kids loved kayaking every day and used the amazing rope swing several times a day. Very close to the Oak Run beach. The cabin was very clean and nicely appointed, and the beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable. We will definitely be back."

"We are in our 70s so the loft was a steep ladder which seemed slippery. We’d reserve a 2-bed in the future for the convenience of the main floor bedroom. Dishes and linens were nice quality. It rained the whole time we were there, but the large windows allowed us to take in the setting. Shades really kept out the sun, and it was nice there was a shade for every window! It was fun and unique for a rental to have a wood fireplace! The 5-point door was tricky to lock. Well maintained paths. Furniture was cramped. Variety of cleaning supplies provided."
