Staff were all very nice & friendly & there’s an english speaking Lady staff, who recommended us to join the Summer Festival with beautiful fireworks near hotel. "We were a family with young children and stayed at Villa B, which was a standalone 3-floor loft-style apartment. It worked really well for us - bedroom with 2 queen-sized beds and ensuite bathroom (including bathtub, washing machine and heater for clothes drying). The second "storey" was a small but well-equipped kitchenette, with a seating area. On the third "storey" was a loft with two sets of futons available. Villa A is closest to the road so we did hear the occasional vehicle passing by...

"The room is great, and just meets your every need for the usual short getaway to Hakone. Very clean and modern, and everything prepared when we arrived. Communication is excellent. This is deep in the community of Hakone but walkable from the train station (by Japan’s walking distance standards). "
