"We made a great choice in choosing the Riverfront Retreat for our Thanksgiving celebration. The large dining table fit our group and its close proximity to the kitchen made serving and cleanup a breeze. One bedroom is set apart from the others which worked perfectly for one couple who ducked out at 5am to catch a flight out of Dulles (about an hours drive) without disturbing others in the group. We enjoyed hiking in Seven Bends State Park and even toured the Shenandoah Caverns (a short drive)....

"Fantastic place to stay as home base for hiking in Shenandoah National Park. Quiet comfortable location, 20 minutes to Front Royal, 30 to Thornton Gap via Luray. Views from the porch were stunning. WiFi worked great for the half day of office work. The beds were comfy, the home luxurious after a day of winter hiking. Great owner who was very responsive. "

"Everything in here seems to have been considered. There's a bit of everything for anyone and just when you think you've found everything there is to find you'll discover some new twist. The space is very unique and offers a lot of room to sprawl during the day. The bedroom space is a little 'cozy' so I wouldn't expect much intimate time if you bring others.
