"This is an extraordinary hotel, a colourful and unique oasis in the middle of bustling kochi. The rooms were beautiful and large and cool with a hot shower and comfortable beds. The pool and communal areas were also gorgeous and tranquil. Breakfast was fine, a good selection. Staff were great also. The afternoon snacks were delightful and a really appreciated extra. The fresh lime soda from the bar was amazing. It is quite noisy as it is in the middle of the town so cars horns and dog barking...

"There’s no doubt this is a beautiful historical old hotel, rooms are comfortable and have lots of original features! Good aircon and comfortable beds. However it does need a little love and attention- could definitely do with a bit of renovation (there were some works going on whilst we were there) nothing major and it didn’t inconvenience us at all) so maybe in a few months improvements will show. "The property is spacious very traditional look tall ceilings large bathrooms. Powerful ac in bedrooms and good fans in the living area. It is well located in the center of fort in a tucked away area. We slept amazingly well and the chef Vishnu took care of all our dietary needs and prepared wonderful Indian meals.
