"Unique, simply and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Brilliantly located for all the local sites in wonderful Fort Kochi and the ferry terminal. Delightful waterfront restaurant- probably the best location to dine in the city. Watching the boats and ships was a real treat. Extremely helpful staff at the front desk and the band practice next door was a complete treat! Perfect place to start our Indian adventure."

"The staff at Tissa’s Inn were lovely, so friendly, welcoming and helpful and genuinely seem to enjoy their work. The restaurant was equally good with plenty of choice. The chef engaged with customers and was always happy to recommend a dish of the day, either a local Keralan speciality or freshly caught fish. Highly recommended!"

"I stayed here for a full week on an academic research trip, and had a wonderful experience. The people who run the hotel are incredibly kind and helpful with everything. It's fairly basic, but was nevertheless extremely comfortable. Everything was very clean, the wifi and air conditioning were consistent and reliable, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a huge plus. It is served at the neighboring restaurant, which offers a choice of Western breakfast (eggs and toast) or Indian breakfast (a rotation of 3 different meals). The Indian breakfast was always superb, and very filling. It was often my favorite meal of the day! I would recommend this place very highly."

"Lively staff, right in the centre of Fort Kochi. Location was fantastic with loads of restaurants & cafes close by. Room had aircon which was a big bonus as we didn’t think it had it. Rooms overlook communal courtyard - big and spacious. Clean bathrooms and no issue with bugs (except mosquitos but they are everywhere in Cochin). Cons: Bed sheets and pillow cases were dirty upon arrival (some had stains) "

"This is a great hotel on the waterfront in Fort Kochi. It is a marvellous restoration of this old boatyard to create a very colonial feel. There are some nice touches to take advantage of such as high tea at 5pm each day followed by a guided tour of the harbour on the hotel’s very nice boat. All the staff were excellent but I give particular thanks to Arun who could not do enough for us. I was also highly impressed with the hotels very real efforts to eliminate the use of plastics an recycle anything they could. "
