"Friendly stuff, beautiful hotel, rooms spacious. For my taste breakfast could be better, Also shampoo bottles are very tiny and hard to get shampoo out. Shopping, sinagoga, Chinese fishing nets within waking distance. "

"The rooms were not clean and the bed made squeaky sound and was not even. The bathroom had spider web and the pot was broken. We had a terrible experience and would not go to the property again. There were no guests in the hotel and the photos are misleading on the website. "

"Really enjoyed staying here, a beautiful grand old mansion with lovely art. Excellent food both at breakfast and dinner. Walking distance to the town though Tuktuk drivers may hassle you to use them. But what really makes this place are the staff, run by 3 lovely ladies who are just the right mix of friendly and helpful. Dry hotel but there is a bar about 50m away! Would highly recommend and is well priced."

"My husband and I initially booked our stay for about 3-4 days, but once we got there, my husband hurt his back and we extended our stay. The staff definitely went over and beyond to take care of us. We requested a 3-day treatment from the male massage therapist on staff - which helped my husband immensely. On top of it, we requested the staff for a doctor, who prescribed medicine for my husband, which the staff went and got for us. They checked on us and inquired about his back every single time they saw us. They even brought food from the breakfast buffet to our room since my husband's back was so bad he couldn't walk over to the restaurant area. It was just amazing. We can't wait to come back to this place the next time we're in Kerala! "
