"The property is a remodeled older home. It is located on the far end of Claytor Lake. The property is situated on a hillside with a fairly steep slope. The house is around 1500 sq feet with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is a well equipped kitchen a separate dining room and a large family room with fireplace. There is a very nice view of the lake from the family room and porch at the front of the house. Personally the property is a little more isolated than we would have liked. I...

"This cabin is off the beaten path! It is stunning inside and out and offers some beautiful nature views ! Everything was clean, cozy and welcoming! I loved the fire pit and the nature trail. My favorite part was the sound of the nearby river and the amount of stars you could see! "

We were there to visit family nearby and it was perfectly located between the towns we were visiting. When we weren't visiting, we loved sitting on the front porch and listening to the river. "The stay was very nice. The fire pit area was very peaceful and beautifully lighted. Overall a real paradise! We did have difficulty finding lights for the outdoor steps from the porch leading outside towards the fire pit. Grandparents would have appreciated marked light switches, Allso we were unable to turn off one of the fans. We were also unable to find lids for pans. The larger black pan was in bad condition. "

"My husband and I chose The Dairy Barn for a short getaway for my birthday. The property was immaculate! We got to see an amazing sunrise and made friends with the cows in the nearby field. The cabin itself is exactly like the pictures. Everything was well appointed, and the bed was so comfortable that we’re trying to find out the brand to get one of our own! The cabin was squeaky clean and we felt right at home. We hope to stay again in the future! Thank you for offering such an amazing place...

"Loved almost everything…cabin next door is being worked on so huge mound of debris at edge of driveway but that won’t last forever, neither will that nail gun and electric saw. We were disappointed not to be able to use the upper deck of the dock because it is in desperate need of refinishing, but relished the paddle boards and kayak time on the gorgeous lake. Being the chef for 9-people I missed having a block of good knives, but the configuration of the house is fabulous. Rocking chairs on...

"This was the perfect location for our quick weekend visit to VT to see our son and go to a football game. The view is amazing and the leaves were at peak color. Only 5 min off the main road, easy to find. Well equipped kitchen. We happened to bring a small tv for tailgating and hooked it up in the main family room. Also turned on the gas fireplace which was very cozy. We enjoyed our visit!"
