"We had a great time meeting up with family in a somewhat centralized location. Made it much easier than making the big trip to either home location. We are fans of the Andy Griffith show so this was a cool location with its proximity to Mt Airy, NC. If your looking for a farm house type stay This could be it. "We just loved it! Way beyond our expectations! The cabin was was so very cozy, and everything was just wonderful. The setting was peaceful and tranquil, especially with the stream running along the cabin. The cabin gives you the feel as if you are back in the 1800s, yet had all of the modern conveniences to enjoy and relax with. The complimentary bottle of wine was so nice! We will be back!"
