"We just loved it! Way beyond our expectations! The cabin was was so very cozy, and everything was just wonderful. The setting was peaceful and tranquil, especially with the stream running along the cabin. The cabin gives you the feel as if you are back in the 1800s, yet had all of the modern conveniences to enjoy and relax with. The complimentary bottle of wine was so nice! We will be back!"

"We stayed at this cabin for some family time and it was perfect. The New River Trail is beautiful and right on the property. We also enjoyed a hike on the properties trails, in the woods. We saw wildlife every morning. The hot tub was huge and clean, as was the rest of the house! Plenty to do right at the cabin."

"This cabin was really efficient with all amenities. The host responded immediately to any questions and was very cordial. The peacefulness while sitting on the deck and enjoying wildlife was spectacular. Would highly recommend for a calm and beautiful getaway."

Like some others mentioned, it was a bit close to the neighbors so if you want total privacy its not the place for you. But we lucked out and the place was pretty empty. "This small secluded cabin was the perfect location for a family weekend with the pups. The property was scrupulously clean & beautifully decorated. We enjoyed walking the property, playing the games, and sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. We experienced some unprecedented difficulties due to a major hurricane striking the area during our stay, and both the property manager and the owner were a class act. I could not recommend this property more. "

"Besides the historic charm, this quiet rental has a cozy gas fireplace, fluffy linens in a luxury bathroom, and even boutique beanery K-cups on hand. So much better than a hotel sitting on the interstate, yet a very short drive for a pause along our journey. We took advantage of the kitchen to enjoy the romantic dinner & easy breakfast we brought from home."
