"1842 Inn exceeded my expectations. Its absolutely beautiful with just an amazing ambiance. Felicia and Latisha were so nice and so helpful. Felicia even helped carry our bags upstairs. It was unreasonably cold so the fireplace was going and relaxing music was playing. It was very welcoming and cozy. We stayed in the John Gresham room. The bed was very comfortable. We would love to stay again if we get to the area and would love to stay longer so we can explore more of the area and research the...

"Overall, my husband and I had a great stay. It was super convenient, just what we needed, and not too pricey. There was, however, a cat fight in the middle of the night right outside our door. A bit of trash outside needed to be taken out, but it didn’t bother us at all. Room was clean and was a perfect place to stay for the night. "

Great Hotel

"Just as I had expected. I appreciate the minimalistic, contemporary and simple designs of my room and lobby. The colors are bright and inviting. It reminds me of European hotels. The staff was super nice and friendly. I will stay at Avid again when in the area. "
