"The house was as described and Dauphin Island is unadorned and basic. Bring what you need and plan to just relax. No flashing lights but the people are very nice. No night life but a casual and restful place to spend a few days. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable."

"We loved our stay in the Dreamcatcher on Dauphin Island. It was the most relaxing vacation that we have been on in a long time. We had a great time watching dolphins and the seabirds from the back deck and the dock. You could see the water from every room in the house (except the bathrooms haha). "We had a large family group. 19 people ages 1-50. There was something for everyone. The kids loved the pool. You can see the beach/ ocean from the top deck and you're so close you can hear the waves crashing. The beach was a short 5 min walk from the house, same for the Lagoon on the opposite side. "A beautiful home. Loved that each bedroom had own bathroom. Powder room on main floor and outside on deck is so convenient. Great kitchen. My husband and I highly recommend. We had eight people in our party, ages 60 to 75. Elevator is definitely a plus. Would be great for family. The deck and pool is wonderful but needs some shade. Loved that it's one house, not split like some."

"This is our second time staying here and we will be back every year! We bring our family for cheer competition at the wharf. This year I was very close to delivering our baby and wasn’t sure if we would make it, the host was so accommodating. The outdoor set up is so nice, our whole family (my husband and I, 6 kids) really enjoyed watching a movie together and being able to eat together at the table. Not to mention the park is so close we could sit in chairs in the driveway and watch our kids...
