"The stay was because of Hurricane Milton evacuation in October 2024. Needed an affordable getaway not in the path of the storm where our daughter's family could also get lodging with their 3 kids and wiener dog. We ended up extending our stay 2 extra nights to make sure it was safe to go home, so stayed 5 nights total. The room had a desk, desk chair and a small very hard chair, but no table to eat at. "This was a very inexpensive stay for me but you get what you pay for…. The parking lot is very tiny/narrow making it impossible for two cars to pass each other while coming or going. My full size pick up did not fit when backed against the fence and stuck out so I worried about it being hit. There was a VERY loud thunk-thunk of metal every few hours all night - I think it might have been the dumpster to waffled house getting used? Young men spent hours hanging out drinking beer and chit chatting...

"This is our second time staying here and we will be back every year! We bring our family for cheer competition at the wharf. This year I was very close to delivering our baby and wasn’t sure if we would make it, the host was so accommodating. The outdoor set up is so nice, our whole family (my husband and I, 6 kids) really enjoyed watching a movie together and being able to eat together at the table.
