"We had a great stay. Kelley was communicative about the details and responded to questions in a timely manner. Location was convenient to downtown Black Mountain. The only issue is the lack of cell phone service, which not a fault of the property, just stating so others are aware. You have to use WiFi calling. I recommend this property for your next visit to the Black Mountain area."

"Host was amazing. Gave my group some insight of the area and had the wood fireplace ready to go. The host had the cabin very well stocked with household items and toiletries. The views of the surrounding mountains were absolutely beautiful. My only complaint is that the photos of the listing showed a telescope on the back porch, but there was no telescope to be found upon arrival. The overall experience was absolutely wonderful "

Plenty of bed space and large rooms to gather in. Checking in and out was a breeze and the property manager, Kelley, communicated everything we needed to know. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"We have been staying in the area for more than 20 years in order to visit with family. This home was very convenient to restaurants and downtown Brevard. The home was unusually quiet and comfortable! The owner was exceptional with communication. By far the best place we have stayed and will definitely stay again. Perfect for our doggie too! Fully fenced in yard with plenty of room for him to run! "

Only drawback was that the driveway was very steep and my vehicle was unable to make the sharp turn to enter the property. No problems, though, as the owners explained how to do it. "My wife and I decided to take our young children to the mountains for an impromptu vacation. We were pleasantly surprised by the home and the beautiful lake upon arrival. This home is extremely well stocked and was very clean. It is in a great location to all of the conveniences you may need but also feels somewhat secluded for that peace of mind. As for the host…Karen is one of the nicest and helpful hosts you could possibly ask for. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking."
