"For an airport hotel it was surprising. The rooms were large with kitchenett and large bathroom with a great shower. Lots of space and exceptionally clean, bed very large and comfortable. Restaurant was excellent and food not only very tasty but also not badly priced. They had a free shuttle bus to the airport which was just 10 minutes away, running all hours. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Note: the TV volume was stuck on low to accommodate other guests and not be too loud - a nice touch. "

"Fable Christchurch is in a great location, within walking distance to the Christchurch tram and many restaurants. The hotel lobby is compact, but lovely and there is a good priced happy hour with decent wine and beer choices in the bar. Staff were great at the check-in desk and specifically, "
