"My stay here was nice, but I suggest arriving there during the day, it's very dark there at night. The place was very nice and tropical nature feel. It was clean but smells like cedar, if that bothers you. Very comfy bed too. I stayed two nights with no problems. The area is dark and nothing around. Very secluded and a little eery when staying alone but it is very close to the volcano which is why I came! All in all great stay! "

"This was an ideal location for us and close to where we wanted to go on the Big Island. The room was compact and had everything we needed. Hilo was a good base for exploring Volcano National Park and the east coast of the island. We appreciated being in a quiet neighborhood but having a car was essential. "We have done many VRBO's & Air B&B's and this was by far the best place we have stayed. Absolutely immaculate & comfortable with no amenities missing. You have a gorgeous backyard with a stream fed goldfish pond, seating area, jacuzzi, bbq, and snorkeling equipment. Great location, five minutes to Hilo and central to all the exploring you want to do. Far better than the pictures can convey. If we ever go back to Hilo, this is where we will stay!"

"This was a great property. I stayed in one of the one bedroom apartments with an extra bed in the living room. It was comfortable. The yard was beautiful. The owners were extremely helpful and easy to work with over the phone and by text. The gardens were amazing. This property was very easily accessible to the Hilo side of the island. We were about an hour from volcanoes national park and we were about an hour in the other direction from many great venues. Would I stay here again? Yes I would."
