"The cabin and location were amazing. Everything noted about the cabin was spot on. We arrived late in the evening and were impressed as soon as we walked in. The cabin is cozy and welcoming. We only had 2 people staying and the size was perfect. There was an additional bedroom that we never used. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, pots, pans, and utensils. "This was a peaceful spot on west shore with two bedrooms -- one for us and one for our kids. The communication with the owner and check in process were as easy as can be. The only constructive note is that some of the cookware was not quite clean (and the tea pot no longer whistles, so pay close attention to your boiling water!). "It was the ideal cabin for Lake Tahoe! I would note that this is not in South Lake City, but about 45 minutes north of it so just keep that in mind when booking as there is limited things to do in Tahoe City."

"We had a great time in this cozy home! It was perfectly situated between all of the things we wanted to do while in Lake Tahoe. Everything was very clean and the fireplace was the PERFECT touch for the first snow day of the season! The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. Would definitely recommend for a couples trip! "

"The phone was so well equipped. I didn’t need to bring half the stuff. If there are some stairs to negotiate that’s for sure, but overall the unit uses very quality items and a mini bar was a pleasant surprise. Thank you."

"Great house with great views of the lake! It does get very hot in the summer, and like most Tahoe homes there is not central AC. The only downside with this home was that many of the windows open up at the bottom rather then from the top, which made us concerned about our dogs staying with us."

"Home is very very well designed for groups. Enough bathrooms for each family, very comfortable beds and linens. Excellent space downstairs for kids. Kitchen equipped to cook for large groups, with full size fridge and extra in garage. Blackout drapes. Very clean. Just a perfect stay.oucurtains in each roo.. "

"We loved our time at this Tahoe City home. The host was super helpful and responsive, and even accommodated early check in/late check out for us. It was just the right amount of space for 2 young families with kids, had an amazing view of the lake and was close to ski mountains. All in all a great stay. My only note for potential renters in the winter is that the driveway is steep and can get icy. Definitely took some management and were glad we had 4WD cars."

"I booked this place because it was pet friendly, had a hot tub, and looked private. The space itself is pretty dated, but has some modern updates with a nice kitchen. The location is great! The house was very clean. We did have someone who said they worked for the property stop by unannounced to look at a camera. That was a little weird since I was in the hot tub. Overall a positive experience and very comfortable. "

"Comfortable, clean and cozy. My family and our dogs enjoyed our stat and will try to book a stay in the summer as well to enjoy the swimming pool. The hot tub was great after a day on the slopes. Just know that the pool is indoor but in a non insulated pool room so it’s way too cold for a dip. A very pleasant stay with comfortable spaces and a well stocked kitchen. Thanks again!"

"Beautiful home. Thank you for our stay. If I’m being critical. For what we paid and other families, the home could have been stocked better. We did make our own dinner, the home had no basic ingredients such as salt and pepper. The toilet paper was super cheap and the bedroom tv can be upgraded, the dvd player is literally hanging by wires. Overall the home was very nice and pleasant and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you. "

"Our family enjoyed the stay, close to Heavenly. There was some stuff we forgot to take, but no worries it had the stuff we needed. Rooms are spacious living area as well the kitchen was a little tight, but other than that we had a great time. The kids saw the landline phone and were in Awe, They said “I thought those only existed in the 1900’s”. Would book again. "

"This is such as nice, clean little cabin/house that fit our two small families perfectly! We enjoyed the back deck for dinner which had plenty of seating options. My only “complaint” is that the front door did not have any latch or lock from the inside so it got tricky with a toddler trying to escape. Other than the door issue, this is a wonderful place to stay!"

"We have visited S. Lake Tahoe every summer for the past few years. We have stayed at some nice vacation rentals and this one was at the top of the list. This home was very clean and accommodated everyone in our party. It was hard to leave as it was a very inviting and comfortable place to stay. It was well worth the money spent and I would definitely consider staying at this place again. I highly recommend this place it created a great memories for the family. "The house worked well for a family ski vacation. Hot tub was very nice. To improve, I would suggest providing some firewood for guests, upgrading the mattress in the downstairs bedroom, and a full roll of paper towels. "
