"This was my first time in Gainesville, and I got lucky choosing the Comfort Inn University. It is close to a wide array of shopping and restaurants accessed by well maintained sidewalks. From day one the staff were friendly and responded to my concerns. The breakfast was limited but good and the facilities overall were in good shape. "There was mold throughout the room: on the walls, ceilings and bathroom. There was a gap at the bottom of the door into the room where light came through the opening and no telling what else..The chairs, desk,bedside tables were worn and unclean. The carpet and curtains were old and frayed. I believe it was the worst place I have ever stayed."
