There are many more locals than tourists nearby, and plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from in the immediate area (we recommend eating nearby and definitely NOT around La Ramblas). It is also within easy walking distance to three metro stations on two different lines, so sightseeing all over the city is easy if you're moving around via the metro, and the metro will also take you to the trains...
