"Very clean and staff was exceptional"

"The hotel is in a great location, outside of the main tourist areas but still close enough to get everywhere quickly on the Metro. There are tons of cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. We enjoyed the hotel’s daily breakfast, and there’s a lovely bar in the lobby. Our room was spacious by European standards, with a comfortable king bed, a large closet area, a beautiful marble bathroom, and a small balcony with a table and 2 chairs. If you have limited mobility, the shower could pose an issue—it’s in a tub that’s very slippery and has high sides (though there is a well-placed safety bar). The water pressure in the sink is low and it takes forever to get hot water. The pressure in the shower is better, and when the hot water gets there, it’s plenty hot. The rainfall shower is oddly positioned but works well. All of the staff members were courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay at U232 again and recommend it to friends. "

"A nice modern hotel in the Eixample neighborhood. The room was exactly as picture. Close enough to Passeig de Gracia and Placa Catalunya to walk--even Sagrada Familia with a little bit of effort. We enjoyed the huge window with a view of the courtyard and a little playground. It was good having coffee in the room, too, something that we did not find everywhere we stayed. Did not use the minibar, but appreciated the fridge. Not being Europeans, we found the shower controls a bit challenging to figure out, but eventually got it. The staff was very friendly."

"We stayed at this hotel in April for 4 nights as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children) and had a wonderful experience. We were assigned a connecting family room, which was perfect for us—spacious, comfortable, and very convenient. The location is excellent. The hotel is within walking distance to La Rambla and surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants offering different cuisines. We felt completely safe walking around the neighborhood, even in the evenings. Getting to the hotel from the airport was also easy and reasonably priced—our taxi cost about €35. Overall, a fantastic stay for families looking for comfort, convenience, and a central location. Highly recommend!"
