We are deaf, and they have no problem communicating with us through the notes app. The view is so beautiful, but it is not easy to walk. I do not recommend walking to Sea Gate from the Ferry. I would recommend this place to my friends and family! "

"We loved Hix Island House!! It was quiet, except for nature sounds, and peaceful. Our unit had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t, a comfortable bed with mosquito netting, (I never saw a mosquito or a fly), fridge, 2 burner stove, basic kitchen supplies, plenty of thick towels, ceiling fan, (no air conditioning but it wasn’t needed) and an outside shower. The breakfast supplies were much appreciated and were restocked every other day. We enjoyed the refreshing swimming pool and the spacious grounds. We also appreciated the free use of beach towels, chairs, umbrella and a bag cooler. And we enjoyed learning the fascinating history of Hix. If we return to Vieques, we will stay there again. "
