This was my second stay at this property. While the rooms afford you great space and a very convenient location I don't think I will stay again. The property owner checks you in within a reasonable time and is responsive to phone calls while providing bath, pool and beach towels along with an outdoor shower, boogie boards and some sunscreen and bug spray. However, he is quite moody when you ask him any questions and instantly dismissed us as unknowledgeable city goers. Any time we asked a question we received a response that was demeaning and was just rude about it. The beds are comfortable and the AC works fairly well and I appreciate that each room has a small kitchen area and most have outdoor space as well. The only real complaint would be about the owner having a very negative attitude towards us.
Property was well located in Esperanza, with great access to the restaurants and beach in town. The staff were very helpful and nice. The property is older, but clean, although the shower had sand from the last guests (which didn’t bother us too much). This is one of the few properties in the area with a small pool, and the property provides pool and beach towels. As other reviews have mentioned, be prepared for the sounds from the chickens next door, starting at around 4 am, but we managed to deal with it. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
Great friendly service,
Place was clean and had all we need it.

Host was rude. Kept mentioning being sued or suing us if we broke anything. Not sure if its dry humor or not but found it very uncomfortable. Rooms could use curtains that close so you can feel better when you sleep. People walking by could see in. Location was good but owner was most unpleasant host ive met.
There's a chicken farm next to the property so the roosters start crowing at 3:20 in the morning and don't stop. I'm not confident anything in our room other than maybe the sheets had been cleaned in a while. The pool area was filfthy and covered with mold. There was open electrical wiring for ceiling fans in the pool pergola. The area reaked of marajuana and a horse nextdoor got terrirorial with us as we were walking down the street.
The property has bunch of mango trees that you can pick. Which is great for breakfast and snacks. Also the property had beach towel and chairs available. The property is really close to the main excursion and beach. It's pretty nice place and good area
Roaches everywhere especially in kitchen, very poor condition and in need of extensive maintenance and cleaning...had a 3 night reservation and left after the 1st night...so disappointed in this place!
Such an adorable hotel with a relaxing pool area. We loved the sounds of nature at night and the chickens in the morning really weren't a big deal. We would definitely stay here again, even with the little quirks that are mentioned in some of the othee reviews.
Host was attentive to our needs and property was well kept. Much better stay than others in area. Boogie boards available . Cute kitty on premises and free mangos!
The room was quaint and nicely decorated. The orchestra of sounds heard throughout the night and into the morning was so different from home, reminding me I was on vacation-which is always a good thing! I would absolutely stay here again!

Was able to check in early and property manager was friendly. I liked the layout of the room and room looked clean. Highly disappointed by the critters that roamed the kitchen and bathroom after sunset. Pool and the outside area although quaint did not appear to be clean. Property can use some maintenance and an exterminator.

Looks like it was once a well cared for property, but whoever owns it is now bored with running it. There was 1 employee there at times to check people in but that was about it. Our shower had no hot water or pressure and she had to drive back to the property so we could change to a room with a functional shower. Also may have just been our visit, but the neighborhood roosters crowed pretty much 24/7.
