Blue Horizon Boutique Resort - Adults Only
5/5 Excellent
"Truly, this resort is a romantic gem, in a spectacular location! We stayed 3 nights, including 3 breakfasts (guava pancakes are yum), and 2 dinners (try the mofongo!).
The ocean-front views were always wonderful: beautiful and relaxing. The pool was delightful, and we were pleased to learn horses no longer roam the property or drink from the pool.
The dirt road in is quite pot-holy, and the stairway to the beach is closed due to erosion.
Our only excursion was a great nighttime boat tour on the bioluminescent bay. Esperanza for us was more enjoyable in the daytime than late at night.
Blue Horizon feels remote, but the destination is well worth the ferry and drive to get there."
