"This was our fifth time staying at this adorable farmhouse! Very cozy and clean and minutes away from Massanutten. Typically we drop the kids off to snowboard and we go explore the neighboring towns! Cute wineries, a lavender farm, and JMU near by! "

"Tough place to find when we arrived at night, but reading the reviews i knew this. I would recommend a sign at the "Y" in the drive way to point to the house. The house itself was very nice. There is definitely a smell of dogs in the house so if that is an issue, this may not be your place. I was not able to utilize the outdoor spaces or the river because of a storm. I was there for a JMU finction and it was in a great location, far enough yet close enough. Again the only issue is the dog smell,...

"This home is absolutely stunning. There have been tons of upgrades while still keeping with the integrity of the original house. It was still decorated for Christmas and my children loved keeping the tree lit. You won't be even a little disappointed in this house!"

"We were in town for a wedding weekend and found this charming farmhouse and were immediately hooked! Our stay was great, the house was exactly what we were looking for and we really enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and watching the cows in the fields. "Cute farmhouse has a wonderful pool and hot tub! It’s on the outskirts of Luray, so plan on driving a bit to see the sights but it’s nice and quiet. There’s lots of levels to spread out in the house. Owner was very responsive and helpful with local suggestions of things to do and places to go. We enjoyed Skyline Drive in Shenandoah State Park that was about an hour from the house. "

Beautiful, open spaces and porch and screened-in porch as well. The owner was extremely helpful and and answered all my questions. Perfect for my family (2 kids and spouse). "We found the house to be perfectly suitable for a wedding rehearsal dinner for over 60 people! The house was a big hit with our guests! They all took a tour and raved about the house!"

"This property is pretty expensive for a one-person weekend retreat, and I was worried I would regret it. I didn't--not one little bit. The house is so incredibly comfortable and spotless and easy. And the sauna is truly incredible. I used it a LOT. The view is lovely as well, and it's an easy drive to some great hikes. I highly recommend this place. "
