"The property is not handicap friendly. I walk with a cane. You have to walk quite a bit, even if you park in a handicap space. There were no luggage carriers, so we had to make two trips. Also, there was no microwave in the room. At this price there should be one."

"The front desk manager, Melissa, was extremely helpful when there was an issue with the thermostat in our room. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, due to an impending snow storm, we had to cut our stay short. Melissa worked with the gentleman from Expedia to complete my travel insurance claim. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future."

"We stayed at the English Inn for 3 nights while in Charlottesville to meet friends. We were extrememly pleased with the cleanliness of our room and the rest of the facility even though they are doing some remodeling. The shower was very powerful and the hot water came on quickly which we loved! The breakfast area was very large with a wonderful buffet - the best we have had at any hotel! The staff is very helpful and friendly (thanks James & Erica!) and Scott the Manager is on top of all duties and situations! Thanks to all of them for making our stay so enjoyable."
