"The house is absolutely beautiful! Me and my friends (15 of us) celebrated my 22nd birthday and stayed here and would highly recommend! A variety of amenities allowed us to stay in the house the entire second day and the host was quick to respond and very helpful! The pool wasn’t warm enough so the host allowed me to turn up the heat to a perfect temperature! The rooms are beautiful decorated and plenty of space for a big group! "

"A major concern and dangerous issue is the sliding doors. They don't lock properly at all and anyone can access the property at anytime. The front is surrounded by sliding glass doors and a few of them don't lock. The dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes from the previous renter. "The McKinley Inn is a great place to stay in Elgin. The downtown location is perfect with restaurants and shopping that are all within easy walking distance. It's also very close to 290 with other restaurant options and grocery stores. The building itself is perfect for several people. It has plenty of room and each bedroom has it's own bathroom, which is definitely a plus. The outside area is also great with a patio and green area.
