"The hot tub was the best part of the house and property. We were in it every day. Overall everything was good and we were satisfied. The curtain rod in the main bedroom is broken and had to be finagled back up and the washing machine became unbalanced the last night and was moving around so we shut it off. Those were the only issues we had. The house was very nicely decorated and the game room area was pretty cool. "

"A major concern and dangerous issue is the sliding doors. They don't lock properly at all and anyone can access the property at anytime. The front is surrounded by sliding glass doors and a few of them don't lock. The dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes from the previous renter. "The McKinley Inn is a great place to stay in Elgin. The downtown location is perfect with restaurants and shopping that are all within easy walking distance. It's also very close to 290 with other restaurant options and grocery stores. The building itself is perfect for several people.
