"Debbie's Finca is a wonderful villa in a remote location away from the busy coast but close enough to call the action/site seeing with a car. The garden and grounds are beautifully kept and attracted alot of wildlife which was lovely to see! The villa has everything you need and Debbie is very attentive without being intrusive. "Our stay was great for many reasons. Location - this house is in a quiet residential area, away from roads and busy tourist areas,perfect if you want peace, quiet and privacy. There is plenty of space (secure behind an electric gate) for parking a car, which you’ll need if you’re staying this far from the main resort areas. Small convenience stores nearby with the larger supermarkets within a few minutes drive. House and grounds - the house was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the layout is great with enough space to ensure you’re not falling over the top of one another. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and there's plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The kitchen is well equipped and contains pretty much everything you need for holiday catering. The patio area is enormous so you can follow the sun all day. The pool is built into the volcanic rock landscaping with no pool cover so you do have to scoop out leaves/debris if it’s been windy. Jose who manages the property comes to clean to pool and ensures he's not disturbing you. If you have very small children you'd have to keep a constant eye on them as there's no way to isolate the pool area or the wider gardens. The outdoor shower and small laundry room with WC mean you don't have to traipse back through the house to the bathroom if you've been in the pool. Comms/contact - Jose provided several recommendations and was super-kind when I left some items behind, ensuring I got them back before my flight. "

"Excellent villa for two families with teenage boys staying for fortnight. Clean property and good size (warm!) pool which was well maintained throughout our stay. Very comfortable beds and the addition of fans during our stay was appreciated. Rural location with great views of volcano and coastline, no concerns with disturbing others or others disturbing us! Very close to airport (10 mins) but no noise from air traffic. The villa's location was ideal for exploring the island and activities with the boys. Local supermarket in Tias has everything you need. Fantastic outdoor BBQ kitchen which was used repeatedly during our stay, the multiple outdoor seating areas worked well throughout the day with plenty of shade. The villa would benefit from an additional sofa in the lounge area and some cushions for the sun loungers to make the hard job of lounging around more comfortable!"

The house is very spacious, albeit a little dated in places and there were some minor issues with the internet, the hot water and the electrics. Overall, we had a good time and the owner was very communicative after check in ownwr . "
