"No curtains so everyone else can see what you do at night. No receptionist just a guys front room that he hangs out in. Wifi is a tad broken but apart from that the bed was quite comfy and as expected for a budget hostel."

"A lovely B&B run by two delightful and kind sisters and staff. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, well appointed and cozy. Breakfast is continental in style with fresh and tasty offerings. The Meidling Bahnhof ( train station) is a short walk away for those travelling in Europe by train, and transit to the centre of Vienna is easily accessible via a direct bus or tram in about 20 minutes. "Very good location and staff were always smiling and welcoming. With a young child it would have been helpful to have cleaning slightly more regularly or a brush provided for sweeping as crumbs quickly gathered around the table. One thing which is out of the hotel’s hands but we did notice is that very often coming in and out of the lobby there were people directly outside the door smoking which was not ideal. Overall very pleasant and easy staff, would recommend for short breaks to Vienna"

"Only once did we see an employee sitting behind the front desk. No one was around when we needed them. If you need to check out of a hotel elsewhere in the city and then move over to Smartments, your luggage might just have to sit unattended in the lobby if you can’t reach anyone on the phone. I won’t stay here again due to the limited hours of expected front desk availability, let alone the actual nearly non-existent availability of hotel staff. "
