"I rented this house to go to Mardi Gras with my mom, sister, and some friends from out of state. My non-Louisiana friends had been to Mardi Gras as tourists before, with all the partying and drinking on Bourbon Street. But they'd never seen the Mardi Gras I grew up with: a family holiday with all the cousins, picnicking on the neutral ground, and trying to get those beads. "Myself and a few family members were visiting NOLA for the first time and needed a place to stay that was close to the french quarter but also reasonably priced. This place was perfect, nothing fancy or over the top but quite enough when you’re out all day. It is a lot bigger than expected too which was nice. The communication with the owner was easy and quick as well. "

"We had an amazing time being back in NOLA. The apartment was very clean and the location was perfect because it was only a few blocks to the parade route. It was also very quiet at night, which was great since we were there during the Mardi Gras season. The host was very accommodating and communicative. I would definitely return. "

"We were in NOLA for a friend’s wedding. Perfect place to stay as the wedding party were based at a hotel nearby. You have to expect noise as it is a ground floor apartment just off the street with the usual French Quarter noises from bars and street people. We did feel safe, and were very comfortable staying here. Would definitely book again."

I would suggest 2 things:Update pamphlets and local info as well as a note of welcome and instructions for dishwasher and micro/oven and pool usage . 2-since you can cook , it would be nice to have a pedestal based table between chairs for meals together. "

"This little spot is the perfect location for a few days of fun in the heart of New Orleans. We enjoyed parades just down the street daily around 6p. We loved breakfast at The Red Slipper nearby. And loved being in the middle between Bourbon Street and Frenchman street. As reviews mention, it is noisy outside but that’s because it’s a great location. Bed was comfortable. Hot water and water pressure were both good in the small shower. We picked up a few snacks and drinks from the Everything...

"Incredibly noisy to the point where I slept on the couch. The 2nd bedroom window provides zero protection from the sound of the HVAC systems directly below it. The noise fluctuates in pitch and loudness making it impossible to sleep. It sounds like a truck is idling right inside your bedroom all night! The apartment is lacking maintenance in some areas such as the bathroom. Otherwise, it's nicely furnished and practical."
