Having stayed at Queen Mary the night before, I found the staff here to be exceptional in comparison—amazingly polite, respectful, and attentive. The breakfast was also outstanding. "The Charm Boutique is so well situated and room 5 has a lovely sea view from the window seat. Central to the beach and town and a parking token for £15 can be purchased for parking anywhere in zone C. Room was cosy and incredibly clean smelling fresh with very comfortable bed. Breakfast was scrumptious with all choices and staff very attentive and couldn’t do enough. "Unfortunately Expedia's systems had failed to work correctly and although I had a confirmation number for the hotel and been debited for the cost, the hotel had no knowledge of my reservation, however they did manage to find a room and accommodate us."

"Clean hotel, communal areas are lovely and breakfast is great. Our room was not as I’d expected. It was small and was worn with chips in furniture and cold! I asked for extra bedding and this was provided, I was also offered a heater for the room as the radiator was not working. I can’t see how the room could have been described as delux double as it was an attic room and the sloping walls meant a mirror couldn’t be hung above the sink so shaving was difficult. "
