The Junior Suite we booked was bursting with character and charm - we stayed in the room called “Went The Day Well?” We loved the massive bathtub, the comfy bed, and the ability to change the temperature of the room and bathroom. "Was a little worried from the outside but on stepping in to the hotel our worries were gone. A lovely welcome and good services when we asked about taxis etc. Totally let down during the night when our sleep was completely disturbed by very noisey and rude room next door. We phoned down to reception for a period of 2hrs and not once was the phone answered. A huge worry for someone who was in serious danger! "Nice clean and up-to-date hotel situated in excellent location. Somethings I did not like at all however. For example the rooms had no safe box and pillows and bedding were terribly uncomfortable - very flat. The reception always smelled like stale food lingering from breakfast when one enters and the visible canteen looked trashed late into the evening. They should really fix the ventilation and close off the canteen from the reception. "

The approach to apartment door is not well lit, the staircase dark, so it wasn’t the easiest finding the property during the middle of the night during the pitch darkness and rain. Once inside it was comfortable and clean and well equipped. Would stay again!"
