Melissa is a fantastic host, and goes above and beyond to be sure the stay is comfortable, and peaceful. She is the biggest part that keeps the resort going, and we're truly greatful for her kindness. The cabins are cozy, warm and draw you in. "We love love loved the wood burning fireplace!!! The deck overlooking the lake was sublime. The kitchen spacious. Didn’t like the tv being in the bedroom. Would prefer to have it over the fireplace. The couch was pretty basic and not comfy. There was no coffee table so we moved the daybed over to put our feet up. Lots of birds chirping. Lovely."

"Cozy home from which to explore Sooke and points west. It was pouring almost all the time we were there but there are still beaches to explore (Whiffen Spit is amazing), and the Sooke Brewery has a heated / covered outdoor space that is child- and dog-friendly. In the evening, the sauna and 2-person hot tub can warm you up even if the weather isn't cooperating!"

"We had a great time staying at the cabin. The host provided amazing breakfast items (juice, milk, eggs, fresh local sourdough, butter, jam) which made the trip feel so special and the location was a perfect distance from the town (10 minute walk down to the pub and 15 mins to town). Overall great stay, and would come back!"
