"This house is in a great location for visiting Victoria and surrounding areas. We were just minutes from Buschart Gardens and Victoria Butterfly Gardens. And this house was so clean that we honestly thought that it had never been lived in before we got there! Lots of special touches, including peaches and mini-horses in the backyard."

"We had a wonderful stay with our two young kids. The property is absolutely beautiful and all the finishes and furnishings in the home make for a really comfortable stay. The kids loved seeing the cows every morning. And the owners were so welcoming! Highly recommend!"

I wish we had more time to hear about the fascinating antiques inside the property. The host, Lou, was wonderful. "The property is location in a beautiful country setting. Very impressive modern home. Well decorated, super clean and great beds. We were on a business trip but this home would be great for a family vacation in fact probably two family could stay at one time since there are so many rooms and beds. Very private huge yard which would be great for BBQs in the summer or anytime. The house is well stocked as well. It was just great. I feel it was the best rental unit we have stayed in over the years....

"With one son living in North Carolina and the other in Japan, we're always looking for places in between to have a family vacation. This filled the bill perfectly. Plenty of space and bedrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen, but we spent as much time as we could outdoors--with many different seating arrangements to choose from. And there's so much to do in the area! We barely scratched the surface."

"We 4 adults were very pleased with the accommodations. Beds were very comfy and kitchen had all the amenities. We made use of the washer and dryer, a nice feature. We went to Butchart Gardens which was about an hour away, so the location perfect in relation to the Nanaimo ferry where we arrived. The beach was near but a bit treacherous for some of us to walk. Loved the Indian food recommendation! Also there was a Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods provided and kettle for tea. Very quiet and...

"The studio suite was very clean, uncluttered, and aesthetically attractive. It was very quiet and peaceful with a lovely view of water through the trees. Apparently there was even a wind storm while we were there but we heard nothing. The only thing we missed were walking trails. Walking was on the road and parks were a car ride away."
