"Second time staying here. Staff are fabulous. Never notified that they are constructing next door. Let down by not getting notified our booking at Palm Avenue was cancelled because of a New Year Ball. They also closed the family pool area down for this. The noise from music testing was off putting on the beach. I guess money being made from outside guests was more important than those resident. I wouldn’t mind normally but you pay a lot of money to stay here. "

"Only had one meal at this hotel for breakfast, food was cold and there were flies around the food, thankfully with the package we could eat at the sister Hilton hotel and had the rest of our meals there, food was warm and was a nicer environment to eat at that hotel. Property was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Lifts were terrible, often had a long wait and lifts regularly stopped on floors when nobody was waiting. "Great hotel, would stay there again. If I had to nit-pick, it would be that a) the pillows were difficult to get used to, b) the bed sheets were not wide enough and kept untucking from the sides, and c) ditch the coffee machine and provide freeze dried coffee or coffee bags. Apart from that, the stay was great in every way."

"Another amazing stay at Dar Al Masyaf, completely faultless .a prompt check in, the excellent staff in the villa, butlers on hand if you ever need anything. We found the e butler service very useful. The huge amount of dining options are great. Our kids (8&6 years) loved the kids club and the pool at the villas is handy. If you book Dar Al Maysef you will not regret it "

"Amazing resort on the beach near Dubai. Only the best for room, staff and service. Travelled the world, this is at the top for quality and a beach break. Definitely going back. If you want the party pool option, you get extra access down the beach. If you want quiet and luxury, that's the minimum that you get here. Very high quality resort with no expense spared at all levels."

"The property is very clean but the rooms are dated. Restaurant staff is friendly but they nickel and dime you for absolutely everything. Front desk staff was not a good experience, they are who you interact with the moment you walk into the property and start your vacation so that wasn't great. I do not recommend using the tour desk on property, he overcharges a lot! I ended up booking my desert safari through Emirates airline instead and paid a little less than half of what he was going to...

"The idea of self-contained villas is a fabulous one, especially for travelers who have larger family size. Unfortunately, the resort has not been kept to the standards that the photos on Expedia and other booking websites depict. The staff, however, was very helpful and pleasant to interact with."

"We arrived in the morning after an overnight flight. Our room wasnt ready but we were offered a room to refresh if we wanted it. We were happy to sit by the pool and wait and drinks were supplied to us to cool down. After about an hour our room was ready. When we entered the room it was a WOW moment.
