"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"We loved the location. Very convenient for walking to restaurants, the SC aquarium, and the Battery. A couple of minor downsides - the sheer in our window was torn and our duvet had a tear. Also, noisy work was nearby, which set off a fire alarm one day and smelled of metal grinding in the elevator and the lobby."
