"Big room, bed was on the hard side, however, convenient to get in and out of downtown Charleston. "

While the carpeting in the hallways was clean, it was obvious that it has just been cleaned and the dampness of the carpeting along with what seemed to be carpeting that previously smelled from smokers was not very pleasant. It should be replaced."

"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

"Construction happening so was noisy but lucky for us we were gone some of the daytime hrs when they were working to make the place better."
