"Loved the location and the supplies in the apartment (kitchen supplies, towels, extra bedding). I was pleasantly surprised to see a washer & dryer- I just wish it was in the listing so we would've known to bring fewer clothes. The beds were also very high compared to the photo, and we're short so it was a struggle to climb up into bed. My kids also had trouble getting into bed until they figured out how to climb the frame. I would still give this rental 5 stars easily. Also we would happily go...

"We had a wonderful time staying here. The neighborhood is very walkable, the building is beautiful. It’s a great location, within walking distance of everything. The local restaurants are great, Grubhub for the nights when we just wanted to stay in. The only negative was that the family upstairs sounds like a herd of buffalo, stomping around from 6am to well after 10pm. "

"Wonderful experience! The location is perfect and it’s a beautiful, well equipped home. What made this stay superb were the hosts. Hands down the best ever. Howard & Jasmine offered every detail you can imagine and many we never considered. (Rain jackets!) We were difficult guests — my husband ignored instructions on the door keypads, sending them multiple alerts. My cooking set off the fire alarm. We forgot to tell them when we left. "Our stay was better than I expected. The home was clean and user friendly. The second bed that was listed was actually a blow-up queen mattress but there was plenty of bedding for it. The property was in a nice area with plenty of easy parking on the street. The location gave easy access to the Metro station and downtown DC. The property manager was easy to communicate with and responded quickly."

"We stayed at Carlton’s apartment for a week. The apartment was nicely furnished with modern features. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with nice dishes, cutlery and pots and pans. The bathrooms were perfectly fine. "This apartment has modern style! Gorgeous kitchen and bathrooms as well as comfortable beds. Front and back bedrooms with their own bathroom is a plus for those traveling with kids. The back bedroom is quiet and dark at night, but the front bedroom can have some noise from the street and the blinds don't fully cover the window. "I was in DC attending President Carter’s funeral. The apartment was a 5 minute walk to where I had to get the shuttle to the National Cathedral. The apartment was very clean and perfect for one or two people. The old steam radiator’s added to the charm. The metro was a 5 minute walk too. Great place to stay if you are visiting the Zoo. "
