"Personally I think Tmark is the best hotel in Vang Vieng. Lovely views of the river and mountains, clean pool, and immaculate landscaping. The staff also are friendly and helpful. Our room was plenty big for the two of us. There is a bridge being built right next to it, and I think once that project is complete, then it will really place Tmark at the top of the hotels in VV. It’s about a 3 minute drive or a 15 min walk from the hotel to the city center. "

"I recently stayed at Lisha Hotel, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The bathroom had a constant foul odor, and the plumbing system was a nightmare. Every time I took a shower, the water would flood all over the bathroom, reaching the toilet and sink. To make matters worse, there was a big gaping hole under the sink that allowed lizards and bugs to come into my room, which was unacceptable. Despite claiming to be a four-star hotel, Lisha Hotel fell far short of that standard....

"We stayed here for two nights and wish we’d had a third! We were so glad we picked to stay here - the setting is beautiful and it was great to get a better feel of the countryside of Laos rather than just the cities. Perfect place to chill. If your main reason for going to the area is to do activities in vang vieng I would stay in the city itself as it is quite a long taxi drive (about 40 mins) but if you want a relax and occasional activity in Vang Vieng then this is perfect. "Horrible stay loud loud LOUD parties are thrown here and then the party was up at 5:30am we barely slept, pool is hot, ac wasnt working on hot day, had to leave early- save yourself and stay in town it is quieter and more convenient"
