It is in walking distance of the mercado, monument, and restaurnats. if you are looking for easy and walking access to diferente places ots a great option. I would definitely come back."

"This is our favorite hotel! Beautiful lobby and public areas, big rooms, amazing infinity pool area (we felt like we were at a private country club!) with full bar and food services, and a separate jacuzzi area, and full gym. My wife had 2 fantastic massages at a great price, and a VIP discount, along with free drinks (Expedia VIP program)! The included breakfast is fantastic, with full omelette bar, typical Dominican food like Mangu (with fried cheese and fried salami!!)!many tropical, fruits, breads, and pastries, and a lot more. The location is very central in Santiago and easy to get around but, the best part is the staff. The friendliest, most courteous, and efficient staff in any hotel. We’re always greeted with a smile, and “what can I do for you next?” My wife has family in Santiago, who are very happy to put us up for the time that we were there, but instead, we spent nine nights at the Hodelpa Gran Almirante. Comfort, and all amenities, this is the standard of what a 5 star hotel should be. "

"This was comfortable and quiet living space in a safe area. The standard room i booked has a nice decor for a one bedroom space and the bathroom was clean and stylish also. Supermarkets are within walking distance and so are some dining options."

"Hotel is clean and breakfast is delicious and included. There is also free WiFi and parking. The best part about hotel is the Open Gazebo in the front of the property where you can sit and sip a beer, talk with other guests, or simply get some fresh air."
