"Excellent "

"I have done a fair bit of traveling and stayed at many hotels, inns, and hostels over the years…and I can confidently say this may have been the worst stay of them all. The location is fine; it’s close to many shops and restaurants. And it’s across a small street from the beach. Those are the only positives I can mention. I would like to first mention that I am very affectionate towards animals and I love dogs. HOWEVER, a hotel is not the place for a dog to live. I’m not talking about a guest...

"We have stayed Al Faro 4 times now and always found it to be excellent in every way. The staff are all extremely friendly, welcoming and efficient. The hilltop position is stunning and the pool fabulous. Food is always very good and varied. Being picked up and dropped off by speedboat always makes it special too. Rooms are very comfortable and have stunning views."

"Great staff and service. Wonderful place to stay. But sometimes not all to food is available but when they have it is very good. "

"Lovely staff and amazing location to explore El Nido. The breakfast was good with a nice view. There were a few minor imperfections with the hotel room - squeaky bed, rattling windows and grimy bathroom. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at the Aqua Lodge for a good price and would recommend."
