"Somewhat unique property. There is a large common building with restaurants and such. Then the rooms were in clusters of about 6 rooms to a building and spread around in a large area. Nicely landscaped grounds. Heat, however, was from a gas fireplace which was hard to regulate. Breakfast had less choices than other places and quality of food was just OK. Upon check in, clerk forgot to put my keys in the holder so after I left the main building, I had to return. "

"Me and my wife stayed here for our anniversary and we had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious and beautiful, and it was only a short walk to the beach, which was great for us. We would definitely love to come here again sooner rather than later."

"Enjoyed our stay at Pacific Reef; it has the best hot tub on the coast. Rooms were fine but need upgrading since furniture does not match the space. Walk to the beach ideal. Breakfast buffet OK, staff very helpful. Property needs an upgrade since adjacent hotels are newer and refurbished. Big picture in back yard entertaining but not worth the space. They would do better putting in outdoor pool and spa near the beach, like their nextdoor neighbor hotel. Add a fire pit and tables during...
