We LOVED the view of the beach and ocean. We paid $20 for early check in. We asked if the room was ready, the hotel clerk said "yes"! We had paid $45 for an upgrade ... from WHAT??? We (two disabled senior women) moved our cart FULL of our belongings to our room. Settling in, we found LOTS of problems. We did not have the strength to move everything again. The room was DIRTY, carpet not vacuumed, found a polaroid picture taken of a girl in the room ... sometime before us. Stove top, oven,(did not use) kitchen floor disgusting, carpet laid over hole in floor ... tripping hazard. Had planned on an Epsom salt bath ... no way we would get in that tub! We put a bathmat on the bottom and showered. I have spent a RIDICULOUS amount of time trying to contact the hotel with no luck. Many different phone numbers given to me by There is NOT a LIVE person to speak to. One person that answered hung up on me as soon as I mentioned a complaint. His name was Hector. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT STAYING AT PROMENADE INN & SUITES OCEANFRONT SEASIDE o Oregon. We are going to have to make a road trip to talk to someone. I personally spoke to a girl when checking out and gave her a list of complaints. She said someone would call. It's been a week ... haven't heard a word. Very disrepectful.

Ocean view was priceless. Fireplace was good. Mo's restaurant, which we like, is conveniently downstairs. Hotel room price was reasonable. Very close to shopping. Location was perfect. There are maintenance issues in the room such as moisture in the glass sliding door on both sides and one side is difficult to see through. The room does not appear to have been refreshed or updated for quite some time. There are other deferred maintenance issues outside the room. The room and hotel has a lot of potential.

While booking through Expedia, it doesn’t mention construction. After booking, there is a message from the inn stating they’re making improvements/construction. Shower pole/head unattached and falling from wall, fell on my child while using it. Sliding door curtains don’t have blackout curtains, street lights shine bright into the room at night.

Staff were great, very knowledgeable, considerate and helpful. The property is being renovated, so not the best condition, but the beds were new and comfortable, the fireplace worked and a nice surprise just cosmetics needing help.

Conveniently located. Lots of parking in the parking structure. Hot water and coffee conveniently located in the lobby. Hotel located right along the beach. Our room had a kitchen and fireplace, it was nice.

Our room was an absolute joke. Nothing like the online pictures. Perhaps the smallest domestic hotel room I’ve ever heard of. Room 419 should be used as a closet, not for guests. The 2 chairs were ripped and thread bare, the light shade was stained and discolored, the shower was hairy, dirty had a mouse sized hairball stuck in the drain stopping the shower from draining. I wouldn’t in that room if I was paid $150 as opposed to me paying $150 by I booked based on the website and I feel sorely abused.
