"We enjoyed our vintage airstream experience at Asheville River Cabins. The setting right on the French Broad River is magnificent! The only disappointment was that the vintage airstream smells of cigarettes, although I got accustomed to it once inside, with the help of an aromatherapy spray. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen had nice dishes and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our French press coffee every morning. "

"The Skyline Lodge is an older property that is on top of a ridge a couple of miles outside of Highlands. The property is quite beautiful It was extensively renovated and updated a couple of years ago. Our room was large and nicely decorated. the bathroom was a bit small but fine. The restaurant is very good. It is a little pricey, but consistent with other good restaurants in Highlands. The bar is small but OK. The bartender and servers are great. There are some nits. This property is noisy,...
