As mentioned in other reviews, don’t expect to eat without a reservation made days in advance— however there are a few options at Yannusen next door ( 5 min walk). Laundry wouldn’t dry in the dryer at all after 2 hrs, best to hang it up! Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"I didn't realize this was a hostel. Pretty bummed when I showed up at the property and realized that. Not a fan of the checkin process- very cold, impersonal, and time consuming. Though a girl finally did show up to help a bit at the end. It was close to the train station, beach, and Enoshima Island which was nice. "

"The dinner alone gets a lot of points. Easily some of the best food I have ever had at a ryokan. The Men’s Onsen is a bit small outdoors. It was difficult to get my large western body (5’10”, 185lb) in the outdoor pool. The indoor pool was nice. The biggest problem is the old wooden floors.
