"Excellence is a solid 4*. The all inclusive, adults only atmosphere is nice, grounds are beautifully decorated, food was very good, for the most part drink and food service was fast. We arrived at the property in the morning and were able to enjoy the property including breakfast and lunch before our check-in time. Here is where it is lacking - you can tell the rooms are getting worn, we had a dinner reservation that we were 10 minutes late to and it was not honored, but was remedied best...

"A bit outdated compared to other Secrets we have been to but getting updated in spring so should be much better soon. Staff was great for the most part. Bryan with entertainment staff was awesome! Food was just ok. Buffet breakfast was good as usual. Sushi was great at Japanese steak house. Seafood place was just ok, Mahi a bit overcooked. Italian was good. "Overall great vacation and resort. The rooms are a good size and the resort is easy to navigate and doesn't take more than 5 minutes to access any part of the resort. All restaurants/bars are pretty central. Beach was beautiful, sandy bottom for about 50 feet from shore and able to walk along the beach for long distances. Restaurant and buffet food options were great, good variety and tasty. French restaurant was our favourite. Only negative would be the evening shows which were a little cheesy and too loud, but really enjoyed the live bands/performers. Enjoyed the activity options. We took part in painting, tennis lessons, bike tour, spin class and craft sessions. Resort didn't seem overly busy - easy to find lounger on the beach and didn't need to wait long to find tables. "
