It felt like we were friends who had come for a visit after not seeing each other for many years. Food was great! The room was sweet and comfortable. We loved our stay and will plan on returning when we’re next ‘across the pond.’ When we were leaving, the owner came hurrying out to wave goodbye to us as we were pulling out of the driveway. "The main building is a beautiful old country house. The food is lovely with a very relaxing atmosphere. The Clarsach being played near the roaring wood fire was really special. Having your own island to explore is a bonus!"
