"I cannot praise the property, owners and location enough. From start to finish this was an effortless customer experience. We were advised that we could check in early as there was no one staying at the proper in the days before our stay. Upon arrival we were taken aback by the location, size and cleanliness of the property. It has absolutely everything that we needed keeping in mind we had 2 children under 7 months old. "Beautiful garden room, very friendly staff beautiful surroundings and close to city centre. Restaurant was lovely, we had a slight issue with our mains but we're offered a dessert on the house to make up for it. Can't fault the place and will definitely be booking a return visit. We had a lovely but noisy dog in the room next to us but could only hear her barking when on the patio. No noise when in the room."

"We were in the riverside lodge and although the lodge was lovely it lacked privacy as the hot tub and decking area was fully visible to people walking past from the nearby bridge, passersby could see right in to the accommodation. The lodge probably wasn’t worth the total amount of money we spent but it is a beautiful setting. The lodges are marketed as luxury, but we wouldn’t class the ‘level’ of luxury as commensurate to the price - the breakfast was pleasant but basic and the shower/toilet...

"One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in a lot). It is incredibly beautiful, and the service is second to none. Quiet hotel, one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in, the food was delicious - I really can't fault it. Worth every penny. The whole island is owned by the hotel, they have wild otters and seals - the spa was beautiful too. Highly recommend, I will be staying here again"
