"We loved our stay, just wish we could have stayed longer. We got in later than check in and Mark the owner still came to greet us and help us with our bags. He was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the black bear hut and it was everything we needed! Definitely small, but we were expecting it to be, and if anything it added to the coziness! The owners thought of everything from snacks, tea, coffee, fresh towels, you name it. The space was so clean, I have nothing bad...

"Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the hosts. They provided tourist information for the surrounding area sites, restaurants and shopping. Our room had everything we would possibly need and was thoughtfully decorated. The breakfast was amazing and fuelled our hike up The Old Man of Storr in rain, 50mph winds and sideways hail. "Staying at Gleann an Ronnaich proved one of then highlights of my extended time in Scotland. The extra special touches made such a difference - a face-washer and shaving cream in the bathroom, very comfortable room & lounge area topped off by exquisitely crafted and cooked hot breakfast. Nothing seemed too much for the hosts, and close to town (Portree) too. Highly recommended!"

"We stayed while walking the Great Glen Way. It is another hour’s walk from the route so we were grateful to Simon for picking us up and dropping us off the next morning, for a small fee. Comfortable room. We ate dinner at the Old Station, a short walk away, which was very good. Good breakfast."
