"Delightful, quirky property with everything needed for a short stay. The host was very welcoming and even left us a bottle of wine and some fudge. He also came out to meet us on the road just to make sure we didn't miss the entrance. We very much enjoyed our stay, especially the quiet location which was only a short drive to the centre of Broadford. The bed was comfortable and we particularly liked the luxury linen. "The owners knew we were traveling by train to Inverness then a bus to the property. We decided to take a taxi instead of bus and it's a good thing because we would have been stranded and the closest town was 4 miles away. They advertise a tea room and food store on site but both were closed. Then the owner was beyond rude. I would like a refund. I would never use Vrbo again if its out of the country. I had a feeling about this one and should have acted on it and cancelled!"

"WATCH OUT!!!! This property, and the people we interacted with for the reservation via Expedia, was a total scam. It starts with attractive photos on both Expedia and Hotels.com, but quickly gets sketchy with cryptic emails and texts regarding the reservation, payment and property details. Unfortunately, our trip was somewhat last minute, so we didn't have many local options for Skye, but this property / representatives were the absolute worst. STAY AWAY!!!"

"Next to the loch, which is beautiful in the mornings. Handy parking and very close to the main road, but it still feels peaceful & remote. There was a minor problem with the stove, but the owner was quick to send out a maintenance person. Facilities are basic but it had everything I needed - if you want room service and a jacuzzi, look elsewhere :-)"

"from the very beginning on booking this chalet, the owner was immediately in touch with us giving full information on directions to the chalet and information regarding the chalet...incredibly helpful and clear and concise. It was a beautiful chalet set by the loch and was remote but also within 20 minutes of Fort William.
