"We had booked a winemaker’s cottage for one night and were upgraded to a lakeside cottage on arrival. I think they are similar just the lakeside has a nicer outlook from the back veranda. The cottages are spacious and very well appointed with a separate living area, large bathroom, and good-sized kitchen. Everything you could need is included and it is all very comfortable and clean. "Like most properties in NZ, the rooms need a bit of a refresh -- surfaces, paint, carpet. Price point is on the higher side (~NZ$375/night). With that said, the 2BR configuration with a kitchen was clutch for a small family. Common areas were very cool. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would stay again "
